Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Division: Monitoring and Evaluation

Location: PMU – MGC office Park 4th Floor, Maseru

Reports To: Monitoring and Evaluation Manager

Duration: Eleven Months Contract

Remuneration: Competitive with Market Standards

The Ministry of Finance Project Management Unit (MOFPMU) requires the services of Monitoring & Evaluation Officer. The M&E Officer shall be responsible for providing technical support in the design, implementation and review of PMU monitoring and evaluation activities. The responsibilities of the M&E Officer include the following:

Qualification and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Public health, Economics/Statistics or an equivalent degree coupled with knowledge and experience in Statistical package software for quantitative data analysis such as SPSS and Stata. A Master’s degree/Postgraduate Diploma in M&E is an added advantage.

• Excellent skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and DHIS2

• Prior experience of working with global Fund funded projects will be an added advantage.

• Prior experience of working with implementers/sub-recipients implementing TB and HIV

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience with a thorough understanding of Monitoring and Evaluation for HIV and TB programs, and Project Management.

• Expertise in quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation methods, including sampling and surveys.
