Background
Relativ Impact is an impact advisory firm that empowers purpose-driven organisations to better measure, manage and increase their social and environmental impact. We are seeking an experienced, curious and dynamic Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist who loves people and the planet to join us and work in close collaboration with a broad range of project teams and clients both private sector and civil society.
The M&E Specialist will be expected to be responsible for designing and executing M&E and Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) solutions on client projects, as well as for Relativ, to ensure project success and continuous improvement. This is a remote, part-time position.
The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will have the following duties and responsibilities:
Assess, design, implement and strengthen monitoring systems
Develop measurement frameworks, metrics (impact indicators) and tools
Qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and reporting on all project activities, and progress towards achieving project outcomes
Develop evidence-based insights and recommendations to support adaptation and improvements to strategies and enhanced decision-making
Evaluate results and impact against planned objectives, strategies and models
Assess the sustainability of results
Write learning and impact reports
Develop capacity of fellow team mates and client teams to facilitate cross-skilling and skills development
Contribute towards knowledge, products and practice within Relativ, its clients and partners
Perform other duties as required

Required Skills and Experience
Education:
University Degree preferably in Business Administration, Economics or related field
Specialised postgraduate qualification in Monitoring and Evaluation will be advantageous
Experience:
Demonstrable experience in the design and implementation of M&E/IMM in sustainability and development projects
Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports
Proven ICT skills, especially in the use of IMM and M&E software using database software
Expertise in analysing data using statistical software
Strong training and facilitation skills
Language Requirements:
Fluency in oral and written English, other languages will be beneficial
