LAND ADMINISTRATION AUTHORITY (LAA)
EXTERNAL RECRUITMENT
The Authority seeks applications from qualified, competent and highly motivated individuals to fill the following positions within the organisation. The positions are based in Maseru. They require good spoken and written Sesotho and English. A competitive and market-related remuneration package including non-contributory benefits is offered. Brief description of the positions is provided below.
Monitoring and Evaluation Manager (1)
Job Scope
The officer is responsible for assessing Business Plan activities, outputs and outcomes against agreed targets. She/he will provide technical support to all the functions of LAA to ensure that the implementation of the Authority Strategic Plan meets the highest standards.
Key Result Areas
- Facilitate and monitor LAA strategic and operational planning and performance.
- Financial management.
- Provide effective leadership in the design and implementation of a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Plan and tracking delivery against LAA goals and objectives.
- Undertake accurate analysis of collected data for assessment of M&E Plan.
- Provide accurate and updated reporting on management reports against LAA goals and objectives.
- Facilitate ongoing and collaborative learning within LAA based on key data from the performance management system for continuous improvement and delivery.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience
- Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge or Professional training in Monitoring and Evaluation.
- At least 5 years working knowledge in monitoring and evaluation or land administration operations.
- Understanding of how to measure the success of projects.

Experience
- At least three (3) to five (5) years in monitoring and evaluation context, including at least two (2) years in a senior supervisory or management position.
