MNN Centre For Investigative Journalism Has A Digital News Project Internship For Journalists Open Starting From March 2020

The MNN Centre for Investigative Journalism (MNNCIJ), invites applications from journalists and aspiring journalists to undergo a six-month journalism internship with the Centre’s Digital News Project.

This Digital News Project is meant to cultivate, enhance and promote journalism in Lesotho. The interns will learn, through practice with the Centre, skills and tactics of handling investigative reports, report on issues of national interest and development, promote accountability and transparency from leaders, expose corruption and wrongdoing, protect human rights and promote good governance. Space is limited.

Applicants must be willing to learn use of innovative tools in news reporting for both broadcast and social media and online news.

Applicants must therefore:

  1. Submit a complete and up-to-date Curriculum Vitae (Resumé).
  2. Submit a motivation of 300 words maximum stating explicitly why they want to join the program and what they hope to achieve.
  3. Applicants must be between the ages of 18-35 years only.
