Mining Manager Patterson Grading (EL)
JOB DESCRIPTION/ PURPOSE
To ensure the effective management of the LMDC Mining Department and the Mining Contractor to meet ore and waste production targets, considering both short and long-term plans within the overall LMDC Business Strategy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 10 years’ open pit experience in with a proven track record in a senior or managerial position;
• A Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering;
• Mine managers ticket of Competency;
• An in-depth knowledge of all aspects of open-pit mining;
• Well versed in the MS office suite.

N.B. These are Mine based positions on a rotational cycle. Applicants must be aware of the remote location of the mine, approximately 130km East-North-East of the Lesotho capital Maseru, 360km South of Johannesburg. Being a remote site, we require our staff to always show courtesy and cultural sensitivity to fellow Team Members and the surrounding local communities.
