Overview & Responsibilities

Rackspace is currently looking for outstanding Office 365 Engineer to join our world class Office 365 team full time onsite or Remote Work from Home for exceptional candidates.

As an Office 365 Engineer for our Office 365 team you will help mid-size and large customers to better plan, migrate, set up, administer and consume Office 365 across their enterprise. A Office 365 Engineer will understand the customer’s business and technical needs by working as an extension of the customer’s IT team. As an Office 365 Engineer you will gain an in-depth knowledge of their business and be able to recommend solutions that best fit their needs utilizing cutting edge technology. Job Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Apply creative problem-solving techniques to identify the source of problems; while at the same time keeping the customer aware of every step along the way via the ticketing system & direct communications with the customer
  • Expected to advise on potential pitfalls that a customer may experience, using existing or planned methods, and suggest alternatives that may better serve the stability and security of the customer’s solution
  • Proposes and documents enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the tenant
  • Works closely with the Technical Account Managers to ensure ultimate client satisfaction
  • Takes escalations and works as an extension of the Office 365 Support team when called upon, making technical recommendations about solutions where necessary
  • Assist in pre-sales opportunities to demonstrate the value of Rackspace’s offering to customers
  • Build documentation & training for material on new Office 365 features and functionality as it is released
  • Responsible for solving customer’s technical issues

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of Microsoft collaboration stack including Office 365, Exchange & SharePoint Online
  • Provides consulting service to customer on building solutions to meet customer needs
  • Responsible for technical aspect of customer visits both in the office and at customer locations, includes presentations
  • Ensures customer satisfaction with follow ups
  • Handles level-appropriate customer support requests via the ticket system
  • Creates and maintains customer loyalty by serving customers above and beyond their expectations
  • Exercises judgment in decision-making to routinely deliver FANATICAL customer support

Guru (Preferred) Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience involving Microsoft Server and/or Office 365 technologies
  • Microsoft Certifications are highly preferred
