Meter Audits Supervisor In the Customer Relations Division

Applications are invited from suitably qualified Lesotho Nationals for the above-mentioned position. The position is tenable at LEC Headquarters in Maseru and the incumbent will report to the Inspections Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE, PROGRESSION & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
• 3 years relevant experience.
• Computer literacy and report writing skills are essential
• Methodical and disciplined approach to work
• Excellent interpersonal and people skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Driver’s License is an essential requirement.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
The incumbent will be responsible for performing the following:
• Checking daily inspection forms and reports in order to effect appropriate action.
• Preparing and allocating inspection lists and schedules.
• Allocating seals to Inspectors and Electricians.
• Reconciling used seals with meter information.
• Conducting investigations and preparing consumption estimates for tampered and faulty meters.
• Supervising all disconnections and re-connections of supply for previously tampered and faulty customers’ meters.
• Preparing schedules for disconnections and re-connections of supply.
• Attending to customer queries and complaints related to meter audits and inspections.
