Metallurgical Laboratory Operator (BU)
JOB DESCRIPTION/ PURPOSE
The incumbent is responsible for safe and secure process sampling, sample analysis and results capturing in accordance with the assay schedule of the metallurgical operations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 2 years’ diamond processing plant operational experience;
• Diploma in Metallurgy;
• Working knowledge of diamond processing and full understanding of the plant process flow;
• Knowledge of metallurgical operations and specifically scrubbers, crushers, DMS.
SKILLS, COMPETENCIES AND LEGAL REQUIREMENTS
• Metallurgical plant operating skills;
• Computer literate;
• Verbal and written communication skills;
• Sound interpersonal skills;
• Initiative, energetic and driven skills;
• Attention to details.

Applicants must be aware of the remote location of the mine, approximately 130km East-North-East of the Lesotho capital Maseru, 360km South of Johannesburg.
