POSITION: MERCHANDISER
Reporting to: Sales Manager
Location: Lesotho Bakery (Blue Ribbon)
Do you have a certain flair for drawing in a crowd and selling it? If you do, then a position as
our Merchandiser is right up your alley. In this job, you will be responsible for showing off the
capabilities of packing a wide range of Premier products within your designated area of work
(Customer).
Responsibilities
• Ensure that store shelves are stocked with the right types of quantities of products
• Display, arrange, price, and rotate products in store
• To provide regular updates on product and sales performances.
• Maintain store shelves by removing short dated or damaged products
• Have ability to use camera or smartphone
• Effectively service all customers in a safe, productive, and professional manner by ensuring proper level of stock is maintained, displayed and rotated correctly.
• Always ensuring that the store has clean shelves
• To answer all the questions customers might have about an item and provide additional information materials, which can include brochures, coupons, or free samples
• Increase brand awareness and work with manager to identify potential marketing opportunities
Job Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience working in a Retail store/Wholesale
• LGCSE/COSC qualification or equivalent
• Great customer service skills
• Team Player
• Attention to detail
• Flexible to travel & relocate to local and mountain areas
• Able to work a flexible schedule
• Effective communication
Preferred:
• Knowledge of MS Office/Excel
• Experience using smartphones and tablet
• At least 1-2 years’ experience in the FMCG industry with sound knowledge of milling, bakery and confectionery products.
