We build Kernel, enterprise software designed for biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Our software helps our customers identify and share medical insights and trends.

Opportunity

We are searching for an experienced medical writer who loves to create engaging content such as scientific headlines, key takeaways and potential implications. Your writing will be featured in strategic reports for our customers.

This is a part-time, flexible consulting position for 5-10 hours per week, with potential for full-time in the future. Your work schedule is up to you. Compensation is US$25 per hour.

Requirements

You’ll work closely with our head of product to translate medical content from social media into impactful headlines for our customers. Ideally, you will help identify customer needs and recommend new approaches and topics.

Qualifications

*   Bachelor’s or graduate degree in science, communications, journalism or English.
*   Ability to translate complex conversations into concise, business-oriented content.
*   Strong attention to detail with excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation and working knowledge of style guidelines.
*   Experience writing for business audiences within healthcare or life sciences is preferred.
*   Expertise in oncology is a big plus!
