Job Title: Medical Superintendent

Job Summary
The Medical Superintendent will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating medical and health services within the hospital and its clinics. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of quality primary and secondary healthcare by promoting best clinical practices that guarantee high-quality patient outcomes.
The role includes supervising junior medical staff, providing guidance on clinical activities, overseeing outpatient and inpatient services, conducting ward rounds, supervising surgical interventions, promoting continuous learning, and ensuring the adoption of current diagnostic and treatment practices.

Minimum Requirements
- Degree in MB.ChB or MD.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ managerial experience.
- Registration with the Lesotho Medical, Dental and Pharmacy Council (LMDPC).
- Contract renewal will be subject to a positive performance appraisal.
