Position Details
- Position: Medical Officer
- Duty Station: Maseru Private Hospital
Duties
The Medical Officer will be responsible for:
- Attending to medical and surgical emergencies at Maseru Private Hospital
- Assisting admitted patients to get a doctor for ward follow‑ups
- Consulting and managing outpatients with minor ailments
- Attending to emergencies in the wards
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Good rapport and communication skills
- Professionalism and respect for patients
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to acquire new skills
- Ability to work harmoniously with others
- Willingness and preparedness to work night shifts
Qualifications
- MBChB degree or equivalent
- BLS and ACLS certification will be an added advantage
