Media Studies Lecturer
Minimum Requirements
- A PhD in Media Studies or a closely related field with at least 2 years of teaching and/or relevant industry experience,
OR - A Master’s Degree in Media Studies or a closely related field with a minimum of 3 years of teaching and/or relevant industry experience.
Key Areas of Specialization
- Media Studies (theory, critical analysis, media literacy)
- Broadcasting (radio, television, or digital broadcasting production and/or studies)
- Digital Media and Emerging Communication Technologies
- Media Research Methods
Additional Competencies (All Positions)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to integrate innovative teaching methodologies and technology into the learning environment
- A portfolio of academic or professional work will be an added advantage
- Evidence of published research (for Media Studies Lecturer)
- A commitment to student success and inclusive teaching practices
