Basil Read Mining invites applications from suitably qualified Basotho locals to fill the following vacancy tenable at Liqhobong Site:
Job Title : Mechanic Assistants (5)
Contract Type: Permanent contract
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The purpose of the position is to assist with the maintenance and repair of plant, equipment and sub-components in a safe and efficient manner
MAIN DUTIES:
- Assist with scheduled plant maintenance.
- Assist with replacement of plant components and repair of plant components.
- Dismantle, assemble and install plant components.
- Maintain and repair tooling and equipment in a safe and usable condition.
- Replace non-repairable tooling and equipment.
- Apply SHEQ standards within area of responsibility.
- Compliance with requirements of Plant Quality Management System.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND DESIRABLE ATTRIBUTES
- Must have Junior Certificate qualifications.
- Must have minimum1- 2 years related experience.
- Must be a self-starter and ability to work under pressure.
- Must be able to read and write
