The Outreach Foundation seeks to appoint a M&E Officer to be based at its head office in Hillbrow, Johannesburg.
Requirements and Responsibilities:
The candidate has to be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
3 year full-time contract Qualification and Experience:
A completed 3 year university degree in Development Studies or Social Sciences or related fields
Background in M&E and research methodologies
Experience in working with donors
Ability to conduct data analysis both quantitative and qualitative
2 years experience in programme monitoring and evaluation, including data verification and quality assurance
Superior report writing skills in English ( will be tested ) Technical and Behavioural Competencies
Fully computer literate in Windows, PowerPoint and Excel – Top proficiency in English
Strong interpersonal skills
Team player
Experienced in community development work
Valid, unendorsed drivers license and proven driving experience
Ability to function well under pressure K P I s
Ongoing development and enhancement of M&E system
On time reporting to donors and management team
Routine M&E duties
Data management and verification of monthly reports
Reporting of data and writing of technical and narrative reports to stakeholders.
