Required Qualifications
• Form E or Equivalent
• Higher qualification in relation to working with children will be an added advantage
Competencies
• High levels of integrity
• Have command in English (both verbal and written communication)
• Have strong emotional intelligence and emotional resilience
. Be decisive in decision making
• Good listening skill
• Great stress management skill
• Have a sound work ethic and ability to use initiative
• Have a sound knowledge of Microsoft office
• A valid driver’s license would be an added advantage
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Creating a positive learning environment and motivate boarders to achieve their fullest potential
• Provide fair and consistent pastoral care for the boarders at all times
• Attending to the boarders needs in accordance with school policies
• Be resident in the accommodation provided in the boarding house during term time
• Liaise with teachers, administration and other staff members for smooth running of boarding
• Supervise the daily routines in the boarding and at meal times
• Ensure hygiene
• Make all boarders feel save and accommodated
