Applications are now open for the 2027 MASDAR WiSER Pioneers Program. Organized by Masdar through its Women in Sustainability, Environment and Renewable Energy (WiSER) initiative, the year-long leadership program equips participants with advanced leadership skills, mentorship, and access to influential global networks.
Designed for women aged 25–35, the program provides bespoke workshops, professional development opportunities, and participation in major international sustainability events, including Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. It is an excellent opportunity for professionals committed to accelerating the global transition toward a net-zero future.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the WiSER Pioneers Program 2026, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a woman aged 25 to 35
- Be currently employed or self-employed
- Hold a university degree in a relevant field, including:
- Environment
- Energy
- Sustainability
- Science
- Technology
- Engineering
- Mathematics (STEM)
- Have at least two years of professional work experience
- Demonstrate excellent spoken English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage but not required)
- Complete the online application and submit all required supporting documents

Participant Responsibilities
Selected WiSER Pioneers are expected to actively engage throughout the duration of the program. Key responsibilities include:
- Attend at least 70% of scheduled workshops and events
- Commit to the full year-long learning journey
- Participate in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and the annual WiSER Forum
- Promote the WiSER Pioneers Program through professional and social networks where appropriate
- Complete surveys and provide feedback to support continuous program improvement
