Holistic health and wellness practitioner featured in HEAL Documentary (Netflix) looking for an enthusiastic marketing intern who is self-motivated, self-directed and experienced in social media promotion, advertising and sales to achieve set registration goals for scheduled workshops and retreats.
As a remote marketing and sales intern you will work from home while being the the right hand person to the president / founder of this holistic wellness company where performance and achieving set goals is paramount. You will be given marketing and sales tools, videos, digital flyers, PDFs and other marketing and promotion materials to perform your job and may use your own creativity in designing, developing and implementing additional digital materials and marketing strategies you feel will help you achieve your set goals. You will have administration duties related to tracking prospects and sales.
This internship will help you acquire confidence and experience in social media marketing and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter a variety of skilled work environments.
Responsibilities
- Post workshop and retreat offerings on all company branded and related health and wellness social media platforms; i.e. FB, Instagram, Twitter, IM, LI, You Tube
- Track activity, interact and respond to social media by obtaining email address and phone numbers for each new contact, sending them workshop / retreat registration info
- Follow-up phone calls, emails, IM to obtain confirmed registration
- Provide weekly report to president: number of new contacts, number of sales made weekly
- Perform market analysis and research on competition
- use your own creativity in designing, developing and implementing additional digital materials and marketing strategies you feel will help you achieve your set goals.
- Collaborate with Administration Manager in updating company database with all new contacts obtained
Skills
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
- Solid understanding of Facebook and Instagram marketing techniques and platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics and Google Adwords)
- Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
- Current enrollment or practical experience in a related marketing BS or Masters degree
