Is currently seeking for applicants for the following positions:
MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS EXECUTIVE – MARKETING DEPARTMENT
The candidate must possess a Degree in Journalism, Communication, public relations OR related field with three (3) years minimum working experience.
Experience working at a higher educational institution with a background of Videography and Photography which shall form a significant role in creating a Content Hub for the University will be an added advantage.
MAIN DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:
Handle an organization’s communication with the public, including investors, consumers, reporters, and other media specialists.
To keep the public informed about the latest activities and policies of the University.
Draft press releases and liaison with people in both print and broadcast media.
Identify the target audience and develop communication strategies accordingly.
Maintain and develop an organization’s image and identity.
Address all communication issues of the University. Propose initiatives to penetrate target markets, including those for prospective students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Develop measures to report on the effectiveness of activities.
Assist with the development, planning and running of University’s marketing events and maintain a calendar of marketing events.
Encourage a marketing culture (ie: internal and external marketing).

- PROVIDE A PROOF OF SETTLEMENT OF NATIONAL MANPOWER DEVELOPMENT SECRETARIAT (NMDS) SPONSORSHIP LOAN OR PROOF THAT CANDIDATE WAS NOT SPONSORED BY NMDS FOR THEIR STUDIES OR PROOF THAT CANDIDATE IS CURRENTLY PAYING NMDS LOAN OR AN UNDERTAKING LETTER THAT SHOULD THE CANDIDATE BE SUCCESSFUL, HE/SHE AUTHORISES THE UNIVERSITY TO MAKE DEDUCTIONS TOWARDS REPAYMENT OF NMDS LOAN FROM THEIR SALARY.
