To further advance our mission, we are looking to find a talented Marketing Operations Specialist to be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and building scalable marketing automation infrastructure for various campaigns and scenarios. To be considered for the role, you should have demonstrable experience administering a marketing automation instance and executing campaigns of varying degree of complexity, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high growth environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Benchmark performance across all online channels, advise on KPIs, and ensure adaptive learning from past campaigns to guide future marketing
  • Work with Sales, Customer Success and Product teams to translate marketing requirements into functional campaigns and workflows within marketing automation, CRM and other marketing systems
  • Develop marketing dashboards and report on key metrics, analyzing and interpreting trends and providing actionable insights based on Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, Outreach, Customer.io, Salesforce, and internal proprietary systems (or equivalent software alternatives)
  • Analyze online user behavior, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution
  • Consult on campaign tagging and additional online tracking
  • Use available data sources (e.g., Google Analytics, Customer.io, user data, Salesforce) to deep dive and troubleshoot campaign (and overall) performance issues and propose methodical optimization tests
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns of various types (email, online, events, etc.) using marketing automation
  • Troubleshoot & quality-check emails to catch errors and optimize engagement
  • Assist in creating, documenting, and optimizing marketing automation infrastructure including campaign flows, scoring, nurture, profiling, segmentation, and routing through Salesforce
  • Manage email deliverability, database hygiene, subscription management and compliance with opt-in laws and regulations
  • Understand the bi-directional data structures with Salesforce.com for data integration; work with Salesforce administrators to coordinate integration with CRM; work with marketing platforms to troubleshoot issues and provide team support

You have:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce and marketing automation software (minimum 2 years of hands-on experience)
  • Experience with email marketing & campaign management between Salesforce and marketing automation systems
  • Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns of various types (email, online, events, etc.) using marketing automation
  • An understanding of HTML for email
  • An ability to problem solve and identify process improvements
  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail for both numbers and text
  • An understanding of lead flow, scoring, integration with Salesforce
  • The ability to aggregate data into meaningful reports
  • An understanding how database/user data integrate (and ability to troubleshoot issues) – Customer.io, Salesforce, marketing automation software, Outreach
  • Experience troubleshooting & quality-checking emails to catch errors and optimize engagement
  • An outcome-oriented mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A Bachelors degree
