Job Title: 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐑

Objective

The primary goal of the Marketing Officer for Pioneer Mall in Maseru is to enhance the mall’s brand visibility, drive foot traffic, and increase tenant satisfaction through strategic and creative marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies

– Conduct market research to understand local consumer behavior and preferences.

– Create comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the mall’s objectives.

– Implement digital and traditional marketing campaigns to promote Pioneer Mall.

2. Social Media Management

– Manage and grow social media accounts for Pioneer Mall.

– Develop engaging content to increase online presence.

– Monitor social media trends and customer feedback for continuous improvement.

3. Event Planning and Execution

– Plan and execute events to attract visitors and enhance the mall’s atmosphere.

– Collaborate with tenants to organize joint promotions and activities.

– Coordinate with local influencers and organizations for event partnerships.

4. Tenant Coordination

– Work closely with tenants to understand their marketing needs.

– Facilitate collaborative marketing efforts among tenants.

– Ensure tenants are informed and engaged in mall-wide marketing initiatives.

5. Brand Partnerships

– Identify and establish partnerships with local businesses and brands.

– Negotiate mutually beneficial promotions and collaborations.

– Leverage partnerships to enhance the overall image of Pioneer Mall.

6. Customer Loyalty Programs

– Develop and implement customer loyalty programs.

– Identify opportunities to reward and retain loyal customers.

– Analyze the effectiveness of loyalty programs and make necessary adjustments.

7. Advertising and Promotion

– Manage advertising placements in local media.

– Explore cost-effective advertising channels.

– Design and distribute promotional materials within the mall and surrounding areas.

8. Budget Management

– Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively.

– Monitor expenses and provide regular reports on budget utilization.

9. Analytics and Reporting

– Utilize analytis tools to measure the performance of marketing initiatives.

– Provide regular reports on key performance indicators.

– Make data-driven recommendations for future marketing strategies.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

– Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the retail or mall industry.

– Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and social media platforms.

– Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

– Creative and innovative mindset.

Reporting Structure

The Marketing Officer will report directly to the Mall Manager or a designated management representative.

This scope of work is a general template and may need to be customized based on the specific needs and objectives of Pioneer Mall in Maseru.
