LJBI is a NPC established in the year 2009 to contribute towards creating economic opportunities through developing and supporting emerging jewellery businesses from historically disadvantaged communities. LJBI provide accredited technical jewellery training to previously disadvantaged youth from Limpopo rural areas that is provided by way of industry-related skills transfer and mentorship in production environment. The training approach is both theoretical and practical. As student advance in the training programme, they graduate into the SMME incubation programme, where they receive business development support to establish and run their jewellery businesses. External SMMEs are also enlisted into the program and receive technical support.
LJBI seeks to appoint a Marketing Officer to be based in Polokwane.
The Marketing Manager purpose is to be responsible for the management and administration of the marketing component of the Incubator and its SMMEs. He/she is responsible for developing and implementing marketing activities reporting to the Centre Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for managing regular advertising campaigns (including that of SMMEs), manage current and new product brand building activities, and champion online marketing .The incumbent will champion and manage all the Incubator’s marketing events including all stakeholders associated with this performance area.
