Role and Responsibilities:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the success and new business growth of Act! CRM Sales and marketing automation software by increasing brand awareness, volume and quality of leads generated in the UK and the French-speaking marketplace. 

The Marketing Manager will develop, plan and execute targeted campaigns/advertising/programs that will resonate with SMBs in France and UK markets. They will have a proven ability to identify opportunities and drive delivery through execution to generate growth. 

They will work closely with the Sr. Manager of Performance and Growth, product marketing and international sales team and shape and align the strategic and tactical International plans for the new business marketing campaigns. 

The Marketing Manager will play a key role in the management and execution of managing online media spend, SEO, content creation, and various brand and promotional campaigns, brand awareness, and lead generation. Experience running digital marketing programs in European markets including website management and website optimisation, online advertising, social media applications and associated digital platforms. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage France & UK marketing strategy and demand gen efforts
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, sales team, MarCom, and creative services to develop and execute regional programs, localize content, social activity, messaging docs, and development of targeted content for region
  • Measure, monitor, analyse, report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, regional programs, and assess against goals (KPIs).
  • Creation, planning, development and execution of tactical and strategic online and offline marketing initiatives, integrating online and new media, advertising, email, direct mail, social media, company websites, SEM/SEO strategy development, brand awareness and drip marketing initiatives.
  • Manage Brand / Social Media / messaging / Digital presence to help promote the company’s products and services.
  • Provide assistance on press releases, contributed articles, presentations, events, internal reporting and other duties as assigned.
  • Copywriting for campaigns, advertisements, emails align with corporate messaging, IDC profiles and personas
  • Liaise and share knowledge, be the ‘expert’ in marketing communications, for the French and the UK regions, to others in the business, supporting the commercial success of products.
  • Proactively explore campaign enhancements, considering more innovative (channel, creative, structural) approaches to elevate engagement levels
  • Manage relationship with regional vendors and media. Ensure vendors and programs stay within budget. Log and track ad spend for regional activities.
  • Ensure regional sites maintain relevant and targeted content and develop plans for continually enhancing and developing our digital presence. Including blog, social media and other digital initiatives.

Education/Experience Requirements:

 Job requirements:

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Ability to read, write and speak in Native French and English.
  • Marketing or Business Degree or equivalent desirable
  • 2-3 years Running Digital Marketing and Social Media efforts in European Market. Including A/B Tests.
  • Work in GMT or EST Time zones (GMT-5)
  • 1-2 years working cross functionally with Graphic Design, Product Marketing, MarCom roles
  • Knowledgeable working with Google Analytics, Hubspot or similar MAP, Salesforce or similar CRM, SEMRush, Facebook Ads, Adwords, Twitter Ads, Hootsuite, WordPress or similar CMS.
  • Proven track record of delivering B2B/B2C Marketing plans with the ability to switch and prioritise between tactical and strategic initiatives
