Job Overview:
Marketing Manager will develop, establish and maintain marketing strategies to meet organisational objectives. Effective management of the marketing, advertising and promotional activities of the organization.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Participate in the development of the strategy of Naledi( for all managers)
- Responsible to identifying potential markets for Naledi.
- Manager will be responsible for supervising Marketing and Sales employees.
- Responsible for formulating new and effective methods for promoting products and services
Manager will determine the best markets for selling products and services - Ensure the development of the Marketing and Sales strategic objectives
- Day to day management of the Marketing team ensuring are on track for achieving KPI’s.
Putting together a content marketing and Sales strategy for the company - Researching Potential target environment and customers
- Reporting on activities towards target to the Chief Operations Manager
- Ensure the management of Naledi’s Social Media and Posting relevant content
- Overseeing all marketing and Sales activity and ensuring it fits with the marketing and Sales strategy.
- Performance Management for the marketing and Sales team.
- Goal oriented and driven, a Marketing manager must create a marketing and Sales plan that meets specific benchmarks and offers room for growth.
- Responsible for overall brand management
- Responsible for digital marketing
- Negotiating and liaising with third party marketing agencies
- Provision of branding equipment
- Monitoring marketing budget and realizing the return on investment
- Organising and execution of company events
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Degree in Marketing and/or equivalent professional qualification
Experience in all aspects of developing and managing Sales and marketing strategies
At least 3 years experience in the related field
Technical marketing skills
Proven experience in customer and market research
Relevant product and industry knowledge
Digital marketing skills
Experience with relevant software applications
Demonstrated experience in achieving membership targets and proven success in a similar position
Ability to organize work, manage time, and complete multiple tasks with attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated high computer literacy including knowledge of software packages with point of sale systems and MS
Ability and confidence to network and build rapport quickly with all stakeholders
Demonstrated knowledge with current Industry practices and trends
Proven ability completing administrative functions and tasks as required
