ABOUT SENTEBALE
Founded in 2006 by Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex and Prince Seeiso Bereng of Lesotho, Sentebale works with children and young people in Botswana and Lesotho to help them access vital health services, receive care and support, and build skills to be more resilient and self-sufficient. The name means ‘forget- me-not’–representing a pledge to always remember the most vulnerable children in the region.
THE PURPOSE OF THE CONSULTANCY
Is to deliver marketing communications operational guidance and tools to ensure best practice is followed when telling the stories of children and young people Sentebale supports. Focus needs to be given to upholding the ethics around capturing content and storytelling given the sensitivities of the young people we work with.
The consultant will work with the Sentebale staff and management in the UK, Lesotho, and Botswana offices to develop standard operating procedures driving positive change in the communities through an empowering portrayal of the children and young people we support in line with the international safeguarding standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Relevant qualification in communications, marketing and public relations, or an extensive, demonstrable industry experience in this field including evidence of the previous and/or similar exercises. HOW TO APPLY Interested and qualified consultants can submit:
