Role

  • Drive the delivery of engagements with clients by developing strategies or tactics that drive tangible value and ensure that recommendations can be readily implemented
  • Plan and deliver work to manage time and effort effectively to meet project financials and delivery quality standards while managing the client relationship
  • Within projects you will be expected to

o Accurately interpret client’s business problems.

o Devise an approach to answering the business problem.

o Convert the resulting analysis into insight that addresses the business problem.

o Present and explain analysis and insight to technical and non-technical audiences.

o Deliver analyses creating insight and not just information.

  • Conduct research or source internally leading practice and industry examples to support findings and recommendations
  • Develop an effective working relationship with mid to senior level client management
  • Structure and prepare reports and facilitate meetings to make compelling presentations to senior audiences
  • Extract intellectual capital from engagement work and actively develop and share tools, methods and best practices across projects
  • Build a network of contacts and internal relationships across Mastercard to support information gathering and data analysis

All About You

  • Degree in a quantitative field [e.g. Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics]
  • 4 years + experience in an analytical role or management consultant experience.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills, including the proven track record in interpreting large amounts of data and translating it into findings and recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly and cogently present on complex topics.
  • The ability to tell a story using significant amounts of data.
  • Desire to work with clients on challenging and diverse business issues
  • Good communication and cross-group collaboration skills. Ability to work with teams across different geographies.
  • Strong personal organizational skills to manage multiple objectives and deliver to plan with a focus on results.
  • The energy and motivation to develop, coach and inspire a team.
  • [Preferred but not required] Knowledge of database technologies (e.g. SQL)
