Job requirements
About the position:
As our Manager University Operations: Accreditation, Quality Control & Compliance your goal is to guide us in how to successfully run the operations of the university, strengthen our quality management processes as well as laying the foundation of all components related to compliance of our university. Your main tasks will include:
- Responsible for Compliance and Quality Management of key processes in the organization by balancing agility, compliance, and outcome. (Accreditation, ISMS, and other processes);
- Ensure continuous improvement with Regular Review and implementation of decided quality measures and their implementation as well as checking compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR) and the pursuit of strategic goals;
- Support in the further development and implementation of the university and accreditation of relevant processes, instruments, and methods for their effectiveness and efficiency in terms of the strategic direction of the university. Including preparation of accreditation documents, quality management reports such as degree program accreditation reports, or the university-wide accreditation reports;
- Collaboration with involved stakeholders on QM and quality in studies and teaching, coordination of relevant workshops and training courses. Establish an excellent working relationship with the Ministry and the Accreditation Bodies in verbal and written correspondence;
- Coordination of all university committees such as the academic council, the student body, or the senate: Create meeting(s) timelines, prepare and distribute meeting notification, correspondence, agenda, and materials, as well as subsequent updates or changes, Create and maintain board minutes;
- Communication and Networking with all stakeholders inside and outside the university and participation in conferences, workshops, and network meetings.
Your profile:
- Experience in the accreditation of programs or institutions in the higher education sector;
- Experience in process and project management as well as in reporting and documentation;
- Experience in target-oriented cooperation with various committees and departments in the higher education sector;
- Knowledge in the field of quantitative methods, statistical collection, evaluation and analysis of data as well as in handling visualization software, process description and IT-based process management;
- Experience with ISMS or ISO certification is a big plus;
- Startup experience is a plus;
- Very good written and spoken German and English;
- Very good knowledge of MS Office;
- High attention to detail and ability to align strategic company goals with university procedures and regulation.
