Description

Responsible for developing and executing on Vodacom Lesotho Segment strategy for Youth, High-Value and Mass consumer market segments, including segment strategy; proposition development and full lifecycle management, tactical and long term market execution, go-to-market and channel marketing, budget management and overall customer management.


Key Deliverables

Accountable for growth in revenues (i.e. customer numbers, ARPU and mix), and margins incl. cost elements of interconnect costs, acquisition and retention spend.
Development of value proposition and differentiation tactics for the consumer segments.
Create segment specific marketing strategy in support of company strategy and commercial objectives with focus on consumer. Align segments initiatives (incl. product plans) with company strategic themes, differentiation strategy, brand and commercial priorities within other parts of the consumer business units.
Develop new differentiated voice and data propositions against a robust roadmap with consideration of customer needs, Vodacom’s segment plans and brand priorities, emerging technologies and internal capabilities.
Make sure that customer inflow and outflow volume and mix is in line with overall strategy through designing and driving customer acquisition. 
Work with Sales teams to manage inflow value using all commercial levers (pricing, sales incentives, terminal pricing, communication, etc.) 
Work with Pricing team to develop appropriate pricing strategies, tactics and propositions for segment.
Prepare device pricing recommendations to achieve commercial objectives whilst keeping within A&R budget and efficiency targets done in collaboration with sales team and to be executed by Sales.

Job Specific Requirements
Tertiary Qualification(Degree) in Marketing or related field
8-10 years’ experience of which at least four years in a relevant Marketing role.
Experience in telecoms/FMCG will be an added advantage
