Description
The purpose of the role is to deliver secure digital systems and applications and/or security technologies\capabilities that would help protect against internal and external threats and ensure controls are effective and standardized across networks and the applications.
Job Responsibility
- Developing and implementing the Security and Privacy by Design and Assurance (SPDA) programme within Vodacom;
- Working closely with Vodafone/Vodacom group Privacy and Security teams to ensure that all projects, products and services within Vodacom adhere to Group requirements regarding Privacy and Cyber Security requirements;
- Ensuring that all products and services adhere to the requirements of GDPR, Data Protection Act and POPI in relation to Privacy and Cyber Security requirements;
- Implementing and Socializing the DevSecOps model within Vodacom Lesotho;
- Assume the role of Cyber Security Champion in squads and offer Cyber Security advisory to ensure that security and privacy are embedded in the Agile Way of working;
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in information security/cybersecurity
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Experience with securing various environments
