POSITION: Manager Marketing Communications

DEPARTMENT: Marketing and Customer Experience

REPORTING TO: GM – Marketing and Customer Experience

PURPOSE:

To manage the design, implementation, and management of a range of online & offline communication strategies

Main Duties / Key Responsibilities

  • Initiates research, development, and implementation of new marketing programs, including direct mail, corporate sales, social media marketing,
  • Develops and promotes branding initiatives consistent with corporate business goals and objectives
  • Maximizes brand value through the development of ancillary revenue streams and new opportunities.
  • Ensures all products, services, and other offerings conform to brand identity; conduct ongoing brand management.
  • Works with creative staff and other department heads to produce marketing collateral in accordance with brand messages
  • Develops marketing plans within budget requirements
  • Collaborates with all departments to identify internal and external customer needs
  • Communicates and negotiates with promotional partners as needed for joint marketing activities.
  • Develops, manages and execute an annual strategic marketing and communications plan for ETL to span across all communication media (online and offline) and reach appropriate target audiences, based upon specific performance goals.
  • Evaluates the success of various communication strategies and provide and implement recommendations for improvement
  • Provides strategic leadership to the marketing group and all other departments of ETL. Set the yearly agenda for the marketing group and actively manage the department to accomplish its goals.
  • Tracking effectiveness of various campaigns
  • Develops a digital strategy

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in marketing, advertising, sales, or business administration, or equivalent

· 5 years telecommunications, Business Management, Commercial or similar experience

  • Knowledge of networking and Relationship building
  • Problem Solving knowledge
  • Knowledge of Project Management
  • Performance analysis
  • Customer Marketing and Experience
  • Strong knowledge of content development and SEM

Special Skills / Personality:

· Proficiency in internet marketing techniques, technologies, and solutions.

· Brand building and brand management

· Project management

· Written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to manage and co-ordinate the end-to-end development process
