Reporting to the Executive head of M-Pesa, Manager: M-Pesa Financial Services will be responsible for driving and executing financial services strategy of M-pesa. The incumbent will oversee end-to-end operations of the financial services department including implementation of new financial services products, marketing, M-Pesa management reporting, customer acquisition and retention and partnering and maintaining relationships with key relevant stakeholders.
Job Responsibility
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners/stakeholders in the financial services industry including the regulator
- Develop and implement acquisition and retention strategies for borrowing and saving customers
- Ensure all lending procedures comply with regulations
- Develop and implement investment strategies for individuals or businesses
- Analyse market conditions based on investment research and economic trends to be able to come up with suitable saving products for customers
- Lead the design and implementation of CVM campaigns
- Design and implement insurance products
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in commercial studies (Finance major is preferred)
- An MBA will be an added advantage
- At least 3 years’ experience in a financial institution
