We need a talented and passionate Fraud Manager to be a leader and subject matter expert in minimizing fraud and maximizing cardholder experience for our financial institutions’ credit card portfolios. This is a full-time salaried position. This position offers health benefits, paid time off and holiday pay. Our offices are just outside of Boston, MA but we will hire nationwide as a work-from-home position for the right person.

A Day in the Life as a Fraud Manager:

The Fraud Manager plays a critical role in the company’s success by managing the overall fraud detection system, rules and parameters to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions, maximize approvals and minimize false positive ratios.

The Fraud Manager will perform detailed analytics, produce metrics and dashboards to monitor trends and performance internally and for clients.

This role will lead internal cross functional teams/collaborations well as work directly with senior level contacts at our financial institutions to customize and optimize their fraud strategies, and track/report performance metrics/results. You’ll be working with a visible and accessible senior management team, and have the opportunity to make a real difference.

What are We Looking For?

The ideal candidate has strong analytical/data amendment skills, strong organization, communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple client demands and priorities. Candidate should be self-starter and thrive in a fast paced, demanding and changing environment. We are willing to hire a remote/home-based employee if you have significant relevant experience.

Prior experience in fraud management role related to credit/debit cards is a big plus as is familiarity with industry tools including First Data Falcon/Defense Edge, and/or FICO Neural Network systems.

  • College degree required
  • 5+ years previous experience in credit/debit card fraud management role
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills, particularly with documenting status, next steps and follow up
  • Proven experience and ability to analyze and act upon client needs
  • Ability to define problems, collect and manipulate large amounts of data, draw conclusions and interpret patterns
  • Ability to think in a logical and methodical manner
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize items appropriately according to severity
  • Excellent time management skills and analytical skills and comfort with technology
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demanding clients
  • Ability to work in a team environment and experience with coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Ability to travel 2-4 times per year
