Description

Role purpose: 

To critically develop, evaluate and analyse all Concept Documents and Product Descriptions on all Vodacom products and services with emphasis on being able to deliver the product and service using the available resources.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership 

Responsible with supporting the Sales teams in promoting existing and new products by working with product team and other stakeholders to ensure special deals and/or discounts get the required approvals i.e. pricing activities and cost volumes as needed
Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
Proactively perform competitor  analysis and/or conduct innovative commercial assessments while ensuring our pricing models are always competitive.
Recommending business strategies, leading to the preparation of cost /price proposals and supporting subcontractor/partner negotiations with customers.  
Work cross borders where necessary with our Operating Companies, Partners and Affiliates to ensure delivery of timely products and pricing enter into customer opportunities

Core competencies, knowledge and experience 

Build and maintain relationship with key stakeholders in the value chain.
Excellent interdepartmental / Multinational Operating Partners/ Affiliates communication (IT & Billing, Operations, Procurement, Marketing, VGE etc)

Qualifications and Work Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in order fulfilment or customer service
