Job description:

Maintenance of static data supporting actual assets under management and administration calculation
Classification of monthly actual client flows
Preparation of monthly actual assets under management and administration report
Period on period analytical review of monthly actual assets under management and administration to provide management commentary as to changes
Variance analysis of monthly forecast or budgeted assets under management and administration against actual assets under management and administration to provide management comment as to differences
Preparation of regulatory and industry related reports supporting Investment company asset value based reporting (including but not limited to regulatory reports to SARB, FSCA, Lesotho Regulators and industry reports such as Alexander Forbes large manager watch reporting)
Maintenance of static data supporting investment company asset value based reporting classification of monthly actual client flows
Assessing from time to time the effect on changing reporting requirement on existing processes
Maintenance of static data supporting forecast Assets under management and administration calculation
Period on period analytical review of assets under management and administration forecast to provide management commentary as to changes
Preparation of holdings files for required entities.
Attend to client queries and ensure that queries are tracked, accurately resolved, and used as a mechanism to improve client service and business processes.
Deliver projects allocated within area of responsibility according to agreed timelines, budget, and defined standards.
This entails understanding reporting standards as defined by Association for Savings and Investment South Africa and the FSCA, liaising with clients in order to obtain the required information, and reviewing calculations.
Preparation and facilitation of audit for the audit certificates in respect asset allocation reports to SARB

Experience and Qualifications

BCOM Honours in either accounting or finance
Microsoft Excel proficiency (Advanced level)
Proficiency in Microsoft Access or SQL Query Programming will be an advantage
Experience in a Lisp, CIS Manco, Asset Management or Multi-Management environment will be an advantage
1-2 years working experience in the financial services sector in a role that requires managing and analysing numerical data or market value based reporting
