Applications are invited from suitably qualified internal & external candidates, who meet the following job specifications. Please note that only candidates who meet the inherent requirementsof the position will be considered.
Purpose:
Responsible for Maintenance of production Equipment, sewing machines,building and Machinery.
Responsibilities Include:
- Support Production when operational.
- Reduce equipment downtime through preventative maintenance and Improvements with old equipment.
- Mechanical design, fault finding, maintenance and installation.
- Pneumatic design, fault finding, maintenance and installation.
- Critical spares planning and executing.
- Contingency planning and executing.
- Ensures that deadlines are met within a predefined time frame and budget to extent.
- Liase with Engineering team.
- Writes specifications of PLC strategy for devices and machines
- Support of relevant PLC/SCADA projects
- Responsible for the adherence of all BOS and other engineering related procedures
- Responsible for continuous improvement for the assigned area.
- To do preventative maintenance as per the schedule.
- Perform adhoc duties as and when required.

- Electrical design, fault finding, and installation.
- Responsible for observing OHS and machine regulations.
- Visualizes production facilities
Education/Experience:
- Minimum, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, additional qualification will be added advantage
- Trained Mechanical Technician with relevant experience in Maintenance
- Experience in maintenance of Sewing Machines
Core knowledge and skills:
- Good Interpersonal and Communication Skills
- Understanding of customer satisfaction
- Health and Safety Awareness
- Computer literate,
- English on advanced level to Speak and write
