Position: Machine Operator

Role Overview
The Machine Operator at the Central Bank of Lesotho is responsible for processing Maloti and Rand banknotes and coins with the aim to avail clean, good-quality money for recirculation.
Areas of Responsibility
- Preparing, processing, and sorting of banknotes via automated devices and manual verification of unfit banknotes
- Authentication of suspicious banknotes via automated devices and manually
- Generating end-of-day reports
Additional Duties
- Reconcile automated reports with physical cash
- Initiate accounting entries in Compass VMS and QCBS systems to transfer reissuable stock to the vault after processing and verification

Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Studies or
- Certified Accounting Technician
