Machine Operator (Egg tray & Storage bag machines)
Description:
The purpose of this position is to operate, maintain and ensure reliability of the NewGen production machines, including having input to the development of operational manuals of the production machines and duties associated with their efficient operation.
Qualification Level:
Diploma or mechanical/electrical technical qualification in production based related equipment.
Experience and Skills:
At least 1 year experience in production equipment operations. Driver’s license, good knowledge and use of Microsoft applications in particular excel and word. Knowledge of good maintenance systems will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the operation of the NewGen production machines. This will also include ensuring but not limited to production and maintenance availability & accountability. Input into the development of the machines operational manuals, policies and procedures. The candidate will also be required to setup an efficient maintenance management system to ensure at least 90% equipment availability.
