What you’ll do

Role Purpose 
M-Pesa Financial Services Manager is responsible for driving and executing financial services strategy of M-Pesa. The manager is also responsible for business performance & reporting function and customer/client value management. 

Key Accountabilities
Build and maintain relationships with key partners/stakeholders in the financial services industry including the regulator
Develop, review and standardize written policy documentation related to the credit and customer set up process.
Develop and implement investment strategies for individuals or businesses
Analyse market conditions based on investment research and economic trends to be able to come up with suitable saving products for customers
Design and implement insurance products
Build and maintain insurance partners/stakeholders.
consults with stakeholders to understand the business model, objectives, issues, and challenges that analytics can support. Develops standards and collection processes to support robust analytics and reporting data pipelines
Analyse current business performance and communicate areas of improvement through reporting and analytical insights

Qualifications and Experience
An undergraduate degree in commercial studies (Finance major will be an added advantage)
An MBA will be an added advantage
At least 3 years’ experience in a  financial institution.
