TITLE               :  Logistics Office (x1)

DEPARTMENT : Programs

SUMMARY: CDC – TARGET SUMMARY: CID-LINK

Under the “CID-LINK”, the incumbent will be responsible for assisting with provision and satisfaction of the administrative needs of the programs staff. This position is based in Maseru, head office and reports to the HTS manager.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The individual’s duties will include but not limited to the following:

    Arrange for all consumables and other logistics for all New Start Counsellors. I. e draft requests and reconciliations.

    Assist in preparations of training logistics. I. e, training materials, hall hire, sourcing consultants, requesting for participants’ transport, per diem as well as accommodation during trainings.

    Assist in requesting, attainment, dispensation and reporting of the medical consumables.

   Prepare the requisitions of the office supplies, stationery, and protective clothing or any other items that may be needed for all New Start sites and programs department as a whole.

   In charge of the petty cash count and replenishment for all New Start sites.

   In charge of all the essential requests for all New Start sites.

   Work with the procurement and inventory office as well as the administration department in ensuring that the standards and needs at sites are met.

    Work with the warehouse assistant in ensuring that all programs department’s equipment is properly placed and stored at the main warehouse. I. e camping equipment, office supplies, protective clothing.

    Liaise with the inventory custodians, the DHMTs and NDSO in ensuring timeous ordering and delivery of the necessary testing consumables and negotiate for moving of close to expiration stock.

   Liaise with the relevant stakeholders in requesting and attainment condoms.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

   Degree in Logistics, Supply chain management, Business Administration and or any other related field.

   Two years’ relevant work experience.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

   Ability to perform according to PSI Prime competencies.

   Ability and willingness to work outside normal working hours, as required by scheduling.

   Demonstrate ability to work sensitively and compassionately with a diverse range of people including Key population groups.

   Strong interpersonal skills, including fluency in English and Sesotho.

   Computer proficient.
