Loan Operations Specialist
Location: Lesotho
Employment Type: Full-time
What You’ll Do
- Review loan applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Validate applications and support approval or decline decisions based on established criteria.
- Identify errors or missing information and coordinate corrections and re-checks with the local team in Lesotho.
- Report mistakes, recurring issues, and operational risks to management.
- Support Loan Officers throughout the application and closing process.
- Work closely with Collections & Payments, Finance, IT, and other departments.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure requests are handled efficiently.
- Contribute to quality assurance and continuous process improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Proactive, responsible, and learning-oriented mindset.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Previous experience in finance, lending, or customer operations is a plus, but not required.
