Loan Officer
Zee Financial Services is a Micro-Finance Institution regulated by Central Bank of Lesotho based in Maseru. We provide the following short-term loans; Student Loans, Business Loans and Personal Loans (Civil Servants, Private Sector and NGOs). We also provide free Financial Counselling to our clients. We are committed to reduce unemployment in Lesotho by providing opportunities to new graduates or anyone who has never been employed before to give them professional experience.
We are looking for fierce candidate for the position of LOAN OFFICER who can be able to start work any time.
Job Description
- Assess clients for loan application
- Explain clearly to clients about different loan options
- Explain to clients before signing about terms and conditions of loan contract agreement
- Fill in loan contracts
- Register clients in a system
- Issue loans
- Remind clients about their payment period
- Update clients after payment
- Follow-up clients who miss their payments
- Track clients who default from payment, both telephonically and physically
- Weekly plans and report-writing
- Any duties assigned
Other Requirements
- Must reside in Maseru
- Must be able to keep Confidentiality at all times
- Must have strong and bold character
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be fluent in Sesotho and English
Qualifications
- Tertiary Qualification in Finance or Accounting or Any Tertiary Qualification
Skills and Experience
- No experience needed
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have vast knowledge of computer system softwares especially Microsoft Office
- Tracking skills
- Having knowledge in loan softwares and systems like credit check, CIDAS and loan management systems will be an added advantage
- Sales and Marketing skills will be added advantage
- Time Management
