Job Title: LOAN CONSULTANT
Location: Mafeteng
Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role by providing expert advice on loan products and guiding clients through the loan application process. The candidate will focus on delivering exceptional customer service, understanding client financial goals, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities:
1. Client Consultation:
– Conduct comprehensive consultations with clients to assess their financial needs and goals.
– Provide expert guidance on suitable loan products, interest rates, and repayment terms.
– Tailor loan solutions to meet the individual requirements of clients.
2. Loan Application Processing:
– Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required documentation.
– Collaborate with the underwriting team to facilitate timely processing and approval of loan applications.
– Keep clients informed about the progress of their applications and address any queries they may have.
3. Product Knowledge:
– Stay informed about the company’s loan products, interest rates, and lending policies.
– Effectively communicate the features and benefits of various loan products to clients.
– Continuously update knowledge on industry trends and market conditions.
4. Compliance:
– Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies during the entire loan application process.
– Stay abreast of changes in lending regulations and implement necessary adjustments to maintain compliance.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
– Proven experience in a customer-facing role within the financial services industry, particularly in lending or banking.
– In-depth understanding of loan products, interest rates, and lending procedures.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in an accessible manner.
– Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
– Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
