Loading Controller ( P12 )
Sappi Saiccor Mill requires a Loading Controller to supervise and dispatch the pulp from the pulp store to the Durban warehouse in accordance with the required standard.
This role reports into the : Manager: Warehouse
The main responsibilities of this job are:
- Supervise staff and contractors while dispatching roles and bales
- Dispatch pulp using production handling system
- Ensure that deliveries are automatically generated and updated on SAP
- Ensure that wrapping adheres to ISO standards by inspecting loads ready for dispatch
- Accept or reject bales and units based ISO criteria and record accordingly
- Relieve loading and offloading drivers by driving the clamp truck and roll clamp truck
- Ensure that staff and contractors comply with the safety standards and use correct PPE
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety within the plant
The ideal candidate should have:
- NQF Level 4 ( Grade 12/ N3)
- Valid Driver’s licence as well as Clamp truck licence
- At least 2- 5 years’s relevant experience within a similar environment (Warehouse).
