Position Details

- Responsible To: Non-Formal Education Trainer
Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Non-Formal Education Trainer (NFET), the incumbent is responsible for coordination and monitoring of learner support services in the district.
Main Duties
- Hold public gatherings to promote Non-Formal Education (NFE)
- Facilitate engagement of LPAs, tutors, and invigilators
- Assess the training needs of Continuing Education and Literacy facilitators
- Facilitate registration and administration of tests and examinations
- Responsible for dispatch of learning materials
- Prepare and administer orientation and face-to-face workshops
- Conduct frequent visits to Learning Posts
- Provide guidance and counselling to NFE learners
- In consultation with the Coordinator/Student Advisor, attend conferences and seminars on NFE development
- Compile progress reports and report to the Coordinator/Student Advisor
- Be ready to carry out other duties assigned by the supervisor
Job Specification
- Diploma in Adult Education / Education
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to communicate with rural communities
- Must be prepared to travel and stay for extended periods in remote areas of Lesotho
- Computer skills
