The title “Kectil” refers to the “Knowles Educational and Charitable Trust for International Leadership”. The goal of this program is to nurture, network, and mentor youth in developing countries who have the potential to be leaders and make a positive difference in their communities, countries…. and maybe even the world!

Limpho together with 30 participants from Colombia, Egypt, Guyana, India, Israel, Kenya, Lesotho, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saint Lucia, South Africa, Uganda, Turkmenistan and Vietnam were selected to participate in a one-week intensive leadership conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Kectil Program was created to identify and nurture highly talented youth in developing countries who have the potential to make a positive difference in their communities and countries.

The highlight of the conference is the youth participants’ country presentations that will include a discussion of the geography, history, culture, demographics and the political and social environment. The youth will share current challenges faced by youth and how the Kectil Program global network can best support all youth in developing countries.
