Letšeng seeks to employ a Mosotho national with appropriate skills and experience to fill the position of
LIGHT VEHICLE SUPPORT SUPERVISOR (PATERSON BAND CU) X 1
PURPOSE: Perform administrative, supervisory, and manual tasks to assure safe and proper operation of maintenance to LV, facility, electrical, mechanical, and a wide variety of equipment in accordance with LDM’s asset management programme.
MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise maintenance, diagnosis and repair on LV/Support Fleet and Ensure proper documentation, work performed, including parts usage and time worked
Perform Over inspections on repairs and maintenance functions and ensure that preventative, daily maintenance and back log repairs are performed as per schedules
Prepare timely and concise reports regarding inspections to insure proper steps are taken to remedy any deficiencies and Ensure absolute Job card and Maintenance compliance.
Ensure correct execution of work including installation and commissioning of components (mechanical, hydraulic and electric/PLC on a daily basis, maintenance schedule or breakdown and back log work
Be proactive for breakdown counter measures or enhancements that may be needed and assist in the development of such procedure’s as required Ensure that preventative, daily maintenance and back log repairs are performed as per schedules
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive (Auto Electrical and mechanical) with accredited training as well as generators, and crushers
Must have 10 years of maintenance supervision
Driving licence (At least code C)
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Sound knowledge of Maintenance principles and strategy Sound knowledge of hydraulic and Pneumatic systems
Sound Knowledge of PLC/ Electric systems
Excellent communication skills and team work
