Experience
A minimum experience of 1 year in the relevant field
Skills and other core competences
Multi-tasking, self-motivated and team oriented, knowledge of copyright legal frameworks including regional and international legal frameworks, analytic skills and problem solving, effective oral and written communication in both Sesotho and English.
Summary of Duties and responsibilities
Assist the management in the development and review of tariffs, negotiate with users of copyright works, issue licenses to commercial users of copyright protected works, inspect premises of users for the purposes of licensing, plan and implement outreach programs for the purpose of promoting copyright works of LESCOSAA members and conduct legal research and advocate for legal reforms in the area of copyright and related rights.
