Advanced Sport Management Course (ASMC) 2025–2026
The Lesotho National Olympic Committee (LNOC) is pleased to announce the launch of the Advanced Sport Management Course (ASMC) for the 2025–2026 period. This course is designed to empower sport administrators with the knowledge and practical skills needed to drive positive change within their sport organizations.
Course Overview
The ASMC is based on the Managing Olympic Sport Organizations (MOSO) manual and includes six comprehensive modules:
• Organizing an Olympic Sport Organization
• Managing Strategically
• Managing Human Resources
• Managing Finances
• Managing Marketing
• Organizing a Major Sport Event
The course will run over a period of nine months, requiring attendance for two weekends per month.
Eligibility Criteria
Applications are open to Presidents, Secretary Generals, Executive Committee Members, and Members of Sports Organizations who meet the following prerequisites:
• Must belong to a National Federation (NF) in good standing with the LNOC
• Must hold a COSC/LGCSE or equivalent (higher qualifications are an advantage)
• Must have completed Sport Administration Course Level I (Level II is an added advantage)
• Must be prepared to undertake research
• Must have at least two years’ experience in sport administration or management
• Must demonstrate leadership qualities
• Must show respect for national sport structures
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit the following:
• Completed official application form
• Curriculum Vitae detailing sport administration/management experience
• Certified copies of academic certificates
• Reference letter from their respective National Federation
