GEM Institute held the first Girl-Tech Talk Conference in celebration of the International Day of the Girl Child. International Day of the Girl Child is celebrated on the 11 October every year.
The theme of the conference was Girls In Technology,Empowerment, Innovation and the 4th Industrial Revolution Empowering Girls For a Better Future.
The Girl-Tech Talk Conference brought together one hundred and fifty Lesotho girls to discuss and show off innovations that can enhance their livelihoods in the modern-day era.
The conference discussed how girls can improve and excel in the field of Science and Mathematics by partnering with marginalised communities for innovative lifestyles.
