POSITION: Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in English

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
• A PhD in English Language Education or Applied English Language/Linguistics Education.
• A minimum experience of three (3) years of teaching courses in the required area in an institution of higher education; preferably on a full-time basis.
• A minimum of three (3) publications in peer reviewed and accredited journals.
• A proven record of conferences and seminar presentations in the relevant area.
Added Advantages
• Experience of teaching English Language at the secondary school level.
Duties and responsibilities
The Lecture/Senior Lecturer will be responsible for the following:
• Design courses, teach and supervise research at undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
• Supervise Teaching Practice;
• Supervise Postgraduate students;
• Present relevant papers at national, regional and international conferences;
• Undertake research and publish in the area of specialisation;
• Engage in community service;
• Diligently perform any other duties as shall be required by the Department and Faculty.
